This Friday Aug 10,07

Hi all:

How are you? How's your long weekend so far?? I hope we will continue to have sunshine until the end of September! (as it's Carrie's big day in Sept!)

We are going to have outdoor devotion at Queen Elizabeth Park (at Cambie St & 33th Ave) at 7 pm on this upcoming Friday. There is a big open space area beside the Bloedel Floral Conservatory (the highest point in the park). We are going to meet up at the water fountain there at 7 pm as there are lots of seats at this open space. We will not have singspiration and devotional sharing time as we have a tight schedule on that night.

How to get there?
1)You can follow the sign of "Seasons Restaurant" and then turn left on the small road when you see Seasons Restaurant. There is a big parking lot in front of that "water fountain" open space. The parking fee is $1 per hour and $5 all day.

2)If you can find free parking space in front of the Bloedel Floral Conservatory, you are welcome to do so (sigh...you may have to do parallel parking. ). You have to walk about 8 to 10 min. to the open space I mentioned earlier.

As the Canada Line is still under construction, you may not able to turn left on Cambie Street (at 33rd Ave). The Vancouver park board highly recommends us to access the park via the Main Street entrance at 33rd Ave.

For those who need rides:

Please call or email me if you need rides because I have to arrange car pool for you. I will meet you in front of our church at 6:20 pm. Please come to our church on time as I will depart from our church at 6:30 pm.

For everyone: Please prepare your heart and pray for the rundown of this program. Of course, it will be easier for us to organize this program if you can get there on time. I will bring one insect repellent in case you need it. If you think you are very attractive to mosquitoes and one insect repellent is not enough for you, you are welcome to bring an extra one for yourself.

Please contact me by email or phone call if you have any questions!
