《奇妙的旅程》這齣結合了基督徒導演徐國誌、編劇岳清清、黑人(陳建州)主演的電影，當初只是一群電影工作者為夢想努力完成的作品，盼望透過清新的音樂、樸實的劇情，傳遞內心真實的感動。
但誰也沒想到這部沒有大成本、大卡司，也沒有情色、爭議性話題的電影，去年11月在台灣上映七週，票房破新台幣百萬，讓新聞局和電影界直呼不可能。很多人看完電影後，留言或回信給劇組表示大受感動，甚至有人說看完這部電影讓他決定去找失聯十二年的母親。
