This Friday Oct 31,08 [Instruction]

Hi all,

How are you this week? As our church is still under renovation, we will have our bible study program in some of our members' house at 7:30 pm. Please read the following gathering places carefully.

For Wai/Donna and Katherine F's group, you will gather at Wai's house for this week's program. No food or snack is allowed at Wai's house.

For Clara/Micky's group, you will gather at my house for this week's program.

Please leave comments on our blog or email or phone me if you have any questions or concerns (need a ride?) regarding this gathering. Please read our bible study material
Luke 8: 4 -15 in advance.

***Don't forget to keep our church building and fund-raising project in your prayer list as well! Of course, remember to BYOB (= Bring Your Own Bible) as we may not have enough bibles in my or Wai's house.

Your sis,

Clara Leung :)

Hi,

I wonder why we are always asked to pray our church building and fund-raising project? Why we are not asked for praying each other more often and having consistent relationship with our Creator?

As I consider, "church" is only a physical building and we should be more focus on the people who attend church.

This is my little comment and not try to offend any people.

Oh, what should I say ne?

Well, of course that's not the only two prayer items we pray. For me, besides that two items, there r another items which r changed from time to time (it depends). U know what I mean now? ^_^

Yes, anonymous, you could say 'church' is only a physical building, but what makes a real church is the people and God. So you are definitely right when you say we should pray for each other more. When you are praying for each other, you are really praying for our 'church'.

難道我們真的像保羅所說:"因為,立志為善由得我,只是行出來由不得我。"???

但是我相信如果我們同心及加油的話一定會有一番新改變。

Anonymous: How do you know we are not praying and caring for each other? I agree with you and Felix that it's the people and God that make our church. No offence. My suggestion: If you feel you are not being cared, can you start the chain by praying and caring others?
