===========================================

Dear Prayer Partners,

    Our last email had us leaving Sendai for the northernmost island of Hokkaido to escape possible radiation coming from nuclear plants that were damaged by the tsunami.

    Now we would like to say that we have returned to Sendai because we see that although the nuclear plant situation is not totally resolved, but we are far enough away from the area; the levels are reducing and are reported to not be damaging to our health.

    Also, it wasn't a good feeling to leave our small group of believers and seekers at Sendai Izumi Church. Also, we heard various Christian and non-Christian organizations were volunteering to help the tsunami damaged coastal areas. So if they were there we decided as a family that we wanted to be there and so we decided to return to Sendai on Friday, March 25th, which just so happened to be Larry's birthday. We were thankful that just the day before, the expressways were opened up for public traffic so we could drive in less time and on safer roads when going through the snowy, mountain passes.

    Right now our mission is gearing up to see how to help the Japanese people in the short term through relief and also hopefully in the long-run it will be a door to share the gospel. We commend the Christian organizations of Samaritan Purse and Food for the Hungry Japan which have set up a warehouse for donated food, water, and supplies which we and other church groups have distributed within their neighborhoods and tsunami hit coastal areas.

    Yesterday, We were able to visit the damaged area of Ishinomaki city to distribute food,water, and clothes. As you may have seen on the news, we saw mass destruction of houses washed away and cars were strewn here and there.

    Please pray for how the Lord may use this as an opportunity to share the gospel and for how we also may be used as His vessels at this time.

Thank you for your prayers,

The Mori's in Sendai Japan
