How's the week? I know, I know.. it's been raining over the weekend. But, it's good to have that as Van didn't rain since mid-Jun. ^^!
Thank you Lord for the raining and sunny days over the Summer time.
NO regular Friday night fellowship this week, instead we will have the Agape Retreat in Bowen Island. Please refer the time and place as follow:
August 14 (Sat) - 2010 Agape Retreat
A one day trip to have and/or learn: a Solitary time with God alone.
Location: Bowen Island
Meeting time:
8:45 a.m. @ Church; OR,
9:30 a.m. @ Horseshoe Bay
Ferry cost: $9.35 per person (Round Trip)
Parking fee: $16 per day @ Horseshoe Bay
Lunch: self-prepare
Registration is on-going; please contact Heidi or simply reply to this mail by Aug 12 , Thur.

August 22 (Sun) - Badminton Day
Time: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Venue: ACE Badminton Centre
Address: 9151 Van Horne Way, Richmond (within walking distance from Bridgeport Sky Train Station)
Charge: $4.25 per person (payment due upon registration)
Things to bring along: badminton racquet, non marking shoes, water
Optional: After the game, we will proceed to the food court (closed at 7:00 p.m.) at Aberdeen Centre for dinner.
** Please reply to me by this Friday (13th) as we have to reserve the courts.
Sept 11 (Sat) - Walkathon
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Burnaby Central Park (Kingsway & Boundary)
Registration fee: $7-, including lunch

Aug 7, 21- 22, 28-29 - 情緒四重奏課程 (Emotion Quartet)
Location: VCEFC Fee: $100 (half price for VCEFC congregations) + $15 admin fee (starting NOW)
