Aug 20 - This coming Friday

Hey all,

How's the week? Thanks God who gave us a great weather and parking spots (^~^)d for the last Sat retreat. We had a good hiking, good sharing and a good time alone with God. We hope we could stay there a bit longer and have the next one.

We will have Bible study on coming Friday at our regular classroom. This time, we will study Philippians 2: 1-4 -- "To be a Christian who helps others".
Please bring your own bible and read ahead of time.

Note: we also have an offering time this Friday.

August 22 (Sun) - Badminton Day
Time: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Venue: ACE Badminton Centre
Address: 9151 Van Horne Way, Richmond (within walking distance from Bridgeport Sky Train Station)
Charge: $4.25 per person (payment due upon registration)
Things to bring along: badminton racquet, non marking shoes, water
Optional: After the game, we will proceed to the food court (closed at 7:00 p.m.) at Aberdeen Centre for dinner.

Sept 11 (Sat) - Walkathon Time: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Burnaby Central Park (Kingsway & Boundary)
Registration fee: $7-, including lunch

Aug 7, 21- 22, 28-29 - 情緒四重奏課程 (Emotion Quartet)
Location: VCEFC Fee: $100 (half price for VCEFC congregations) + $15 admin fee (starting NOW)
